5.5 x 3.5 inch postcard
US 125.00
Order code RMKS-2111
Probably ARLANZA entering Lisbon
Seen in portrait view, much card space is given for additional writing, printing etc
This type of postcard was issued on board for the European market and were usually for 2nd or 3rd class & for special occasions such as birthdays, etc. Only in first class a special menu would have been written in by the Restaurant Manager or even printed for the guests on a certain table. Some of course were posted as they are bona-fide postcards. The black print on the rear was standard for these on board issues, away from the larger 6x4 format of their ships with the familiar light blue print. This card is unused, almost pristine in condition
FRONT: - All corners sharp! Only three minor spots, not foxing, mar an otherwise perfect specimen. The spots seem to be similar in colour to the printed image and are 'proud' of the surface
Rear: - Unused, clean & clear, see scan
